Innovate on the motorcycle: between music and distance
The BT2 introduced stereo mode and bike-to-bike communication, allowing high-quality music during riding and long-distance communication, setting a new standard in the industry.
Audio First
In a market where competitors are constantly seeking more elaborate and complex features, Midland was the first to recognize the paramount importance of audio quality above all else. The riding experience with an intercom is primarily determined by how clear and understandable the communication, music, and calls are, even at high speeds and in noisy conditions. To achieve this, Midland introduced the Digital Noise Killer function for noise suppression, made possible through the creation of the Mwe (Midland Wind Experience) wind tunnel—a unique and essential tool for replicating wind noise and turbulence conditions in the lab.
The audio quality is ensured by both hardware and firmware solutions. We have therefore collaborated with RCF, a world leader in concert, theater, and stadium audio systems, to bring high-definition audio quality and performance into helmets, providing professional-grade sound.
Innovate on the motorbike: universal intercom
In 2012, Midland introduced the "talk2all" function from their labs, which provides compatibility with all brands. This allows users to communicate with everyone and choose their travel companions.
Looking to the future, we are determined to continuously push the boundaries of our intercoms' performance. The introduction of mesh technology and constant improvements in audio quality testify to our efforts to optimize the user experience. We are also integrating voice commands to make our intercoms even more intuitive and easy to use. The continuous encouragement we receive drives us to continue on this path of innovation, with a steadfast commitment to the improvement and development of our products.
