The new Midland covers for the R Line and BT Mini: complete guide to compatible models
If you visited our stand at EICMA 2025, you probably already have the new limited-edition Midland cover in your hands: many of you arrived with your intercom, ready to give it a fresh new look.
It was great to see so much enthusiasm — and one question came up over and over:
“Is the cover compatible with my intercom too?”
It depends on the Midland model you have: the new covers with custom graphics are designed for the R Line and for BT Mini, so they don’t (for now) fit the entire Midland range.
Another question we received at the fair was: how can I check if my intercom is part of the R Line? Here’s the answer!
What is the R Line (and why many didn’t know they had one)
When we talk about the R Line, we mean a specific range that includes models designed with the same goal: offering an advanced, stable and powerful communication experience for those who want the very best from their motorcycle journeys.
These five models are part of the R Line:
BTR1
BTR1 ADV
BTR1 ADV X
R1 Mesh
Rush RCF
They are all different in terms of performance, functions and technology level, but they share a common design and, above all, the guarantee of always delivering top performance — also thanks to the RCF audio system, which gives you a real concert inside your helmet.
Models compatible with the new covers
The new covers with custom graphics have been designed in two dedicated versions: one designed for the Linea R intercoms — BTR1, BTR1 ADV, BTR1 ADV X, R1 Mesh, Rush RCF — and one specifically for the BT Mini.
During the fair, many visitors brought their intercom directly to our desk and tested it on the spot, customizing the device’s look in just a few seconds.
At the moment, there are 13 different graphics available, allowing you to give your intercom a unique touch and perfectly match the graphics of your bike.

What are the differences between the R Line intercoms and the BT Mini?
Those who don’t know the Midland range in depth might think that all compatible intercoms are similar.
In reality, each one has its own technical features — and its own way of supporting the rider:
BT Mini is the most compact and easy to install and use. It’s perfect for those who want an essential intercom without compromising on quality. It supports bike-to-bike communication for up to 4 people and is designed to fit any helmet.
BTR1 is the entry point into the R Line. Simple, reliable, ideal for riders who want to level up without complications. Perfect for rider–passenger communication or chatting with friends up to 800 metres away.
BTR1 Advanced and BTR1 Advanced X are the choice of riders who use the intercom every day or for longer, more demanding trips. They offer more battery life, more features and allow communication with friends up to 1.2 km away.
R1 Mesh is the solution for group riding, thanks to Mesh technology that goes beyond the chain configuration of Bluetooth, offering fluid connection, continuous dialogue and no interruptions.
Rush RCF is the top-of-the-range intercom for the most demanding motorcyclists. Developed in collaboration with RCF, it delivers superior audio quality that stays clear even in the most difficult conditions.
The new Midland covers were created to make personal something that accompanies the rider every day Kilometre after kilometre, an intercom becomes part of your motorcycle routine — and now you can make it even more yours.
If you have an R Line intercom or a BT Mini, you can already imagine it with a whole new look.
And if you don’t have one yet… this might be the perfect moment to enter the Midland world!
