The 1.33 firmware update introduces several improvements, including the ability to share music with your passenger, making every ride even more enjoyable and engaging.

Music sharing with passenger: You can now share music with a passenger who has a BT Mini.
Voice assistant activation during music playback: With a double click on the central button, you can activate the voice assistant without pausing the music.
Volume adjustment: The volume change speed has been significantly improved, now much faster when holding down the volume + or volume - buttons.
Command modifications: Pairing reset has been modified (to prevent accidental activation), and a next-track command has been introduced for better alignment with the previous-track command.
Filter for third-party device interference: During intercom pairing, there will now be fewer interferences.
Bug fix: Adjusted battery voltage level for a fully charged battery (solid blue light).

BTR1 Advanced 3.02
The BTR1 Advanced represents the evolution of Midland single-processor intercoms, now offering an innovative feature called "Parallel Audio," which dramatically enhances the motorcycle communication and entertainment experience.
With this function, you can listen to music and GPS instructions in the background while talking via intercom, without interruptions—just like in dual-processor models.

Parallel Audio: Music and GPS apps (A2DP audio) are now in the background during intercom communication (FM radio also runs in the background). Talk with your friends while listening to music and GPS directions.
Simplified user interface:
In phone mode, a double click allows you to access intercom mode controls.

In FM radio mode, a double click allows you to access intercom controls. If you pause FM radio, voice dialing is available.
Improved connection stability with Zumo XT/XT2: Now supports background pairing via the volume - button.
Enhanced compatibility with TomTom Rider 550: Now the device must be paired using volume + and set to A2DP audio, while the phone must be paired using volume -.
Optimized OBI protocol for Cardo device compatibility: Now parallel audio is possible even when paired with a Cardo, and intercom distance has improved.
Improved compatibility with SENA intercom: You can now use the intercom pairing procedure on both devices.
Synchronized volumes: No more worrying about low phone volume—it's now automatically synced with the unit.
Music sharing activation modified: First, open the intercom, then press the "down" button for 3 seconds. Imagine a conversation like:
